Pretending to be in Europe at the National Cathedral

The cathedral’s exterior is like a super romantic Gothic castle, Very similar to Notre-Dame in Paris. We went at sunset, and the sunlight ☀️ shining on the outside of the building was stunning. Unfortunately, there was an event inside the church, so we couldn’t visit. I’ve heard it’s incredibly impressive! Definitely plan a visit on a weekday sometime 😁 There’s a large lawn in front of the entrance where you can sit and relax when the weather is warm ☀️ When we were there, we saw someone taking graduation photos 🎓 About 🅿️: Street parking is tough to find on weekends; we searched several streets and they were all Full. We ended up at an underground parking lot for $10 cash only, which was also pretty full. Also, the National Zoo is very close to this place.
