Quattro Passi 🌟🌟🌟 – August 23, 2025

A three-Michelin-starred restaurant on the Amalfi Coast. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking—come a bit earlier for dinner and grab a table by the edge to catch the sunset glow. šŸŒ… Though newly awarded three stars, the cuisine here stays true to classic Italian traditions, which aligns well with Michelin’s recent preferences. • Two series of appetizers: refreshing pickled vegetables and assorted pizza-inspired bites šŸ…šŸ• • First main course (still an appetizer): ā€œMy Gardenā€ā€”tomato water gelĆ©e, olive oil, and edible flowers 🌸 • Zucchini flower tempura with ricotta, almonds, bottarga, and sea urchin. The tempura was light, and the bottarga and uni added a subtle taste of the ocean 🌊 • Mackerel with fig leaf oil and citrus jus—Italian seafood can be hit or miss; this mackerel leaned slightly bitter, and the sauce echoed that tone 🐟 • Tomato spaghetto: the tomato sauce was incredibly dense, almost like a purĆ©e, with an intense flavor šŸ • Amalfi’s classic pasta: Linguine alla ā€œNeranoā€ with zucchini, basil, black pepper, and a local cheese similar to Parmigiano šŸ§€ • Third pasta: lasagna with veal, pork, and ricotta. The chef shared that traditional lasagna here is rolled—this was my favorite of the pastas! 🄟 • Seabass with wood sorrel and Amalfi lemon sauce—a classic from the chef. The sauce was a French-style cream sauce; the fish was tender but had a noticeable fishy taste šŸ‹ • Second fish: Mediterranean cod with endive, capers, and quinoa, served with crispy fish skin and a rich fish bone broth. A beautiful balance of savory and herbal notes—I preferred this over the seabass. • Char-grilled chicken breast with burnt lemon and supreme sauce šŸ— • Lamb—three different cuts—prepared to solid three-star standards šŸ‘ • Dessert: saffron rice pudding was a unique and pleasant finish šŸš Overall, while there weren’t many standout surprises, it’s a worthy three-star experience—especially with those stunning views. Definitely worth a visit! šŸ’« #FoodieLife #MichelinRestaurant #FoodDiary #ItalianCuisine #ThreeMichelinStars #AmalfiCoastDining #FineDining #LuxuryDining #TravelEats #CoastalViews #ClassicItalian
