Italian food is truly the GOAT! š Stumbled upon this trendy Italian spot in West Loop and couldnāt resist going in for a spontaneous feastāended up totally delighted. š®š¹ 564 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60661 šæ Vibe & Ambiance Walking into Alla Vita feels like stepping into a floating dream. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows flood the space with sunlight, while breezy linen curtains drift gently from the ceiling. Combined with wooden trellises and climbing greenery along one wall, itās like dining in a carefully curated outdoor garden. Even if youāve never been to Italy, it evokes images of an alfresco meal under the Tuscan sunāblending Italian romance with Chicagoās vibrant energy. š Restaurant Background Alla Vita is a new venture by the Boka Restaurant Group. āAlla Vitaā means āto lifeā in Italian. They focus on comforting Italian cuisine, swapping traditional dark wood and dim lighting for bright, airy design. The menu includes authentic Italian dishes (whole grilled sea bream, seafood fritto) as well as Italian-American classics (chicken parm, meatballs, vodka pasta)āperfect for sharing with loved ones and celebrating lifeās little rituals. š½ļø What I Ate š Tuna Crudo Light, tangy, and coolārefreshing and appetite-waking. Finished in a few bites, great as a starter. š Tagliatelle So surprisingly good! Looks simple but tastes amazing. The wide ribbon pasta is perfectly al dente yet silky, paired with rich slow-braised beef shank ragù, topped with aged parmesan and oregano. A bit salty, but totally within reasonāI devoured the whole plate. š Chicagoās Asian food may be hit-or-miss, but its Western cuisine really shines. With its plant-filled ceilings, sun-drenched rooms, and soul-soothing pasta, Alla Vita truly lives up to its name: to life! Now Iām just daydreaming about being in Italy every day! š®š¹āØ #Food #Chicago #ChicagoLife #ChicagoFood #ItalianCuisine #Italy #ItalianRestaurant
