Recommendation for Adega Santiago

Recommendation for Adega Santiago 🇪🇸 Adega Santiago is a Spanish restaurant that I quite like. Both its decoration style and dish flavors are relatively traditional and authentic. There are 4 branches in total, one in Rio de Janeiro, and the others are located in the Morumbi, Jardins, and Jardim Paulistano areas of São Paulo. (Although they are all the same restaurant, I personally think the one in the Jardim Paulistano area has the best taste). Since I like Belisco quite a lot, I have tried many of the side dishes and appetizers, so naturally, there are more that I can recommend: The scallops are really fresh, sweet, and delicious. Except for being a bit expensive (32 reais each), there is really nothing to fault them; The oysters are inconsistent—sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes big, sometimes small. It's really hard to tell. Those who like oysters can order them, but I just want to complain that sometimes they are not big; The 36-month aged Spanish Iberian ham is recommended! It's well-marbled, neither too salty nor too greasy. It's worth mentioning that the Carpaccio de salmão is quite thin, which makes its texture delicate, but it's not particularly distinctive. In addition, garlic-fried shrimp, Bolinho de bacalhau (which is quite genuine compared to others), Tostada de figo (suitable for those who like to try sweet flavors—the sweetness of figs paired with slightly fatty ham has a rather novel taste), and Palmito (just because I personally like Palmito) are all worth a try in my opinion.🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔🍔 When it comes to main courses, how can you miss the most Spanish signature paella in a Spanish restaurant? I personally think the most delicious one is Paella da casa, but there are also black rice paella, octopus paella, duck leg paella, etc., if you want to try other flavors after eating a lot of paella; I haven't ordered fish or meat dishes because during the several visits, I mainly went for several major Spanish dishes. The shrimp 🦐 is recommended by the restaurant. After tasting it, it's indeed exceptionally fresh and sweet. It's a pity that there are only two in a portion, and the price is not that friendly (about 168 reais per portion).💕💕💕💕💕💕 Lobster is not particularly recommended. Although it's rare for a restaurant to offer fresh lobsters for customers to choose by themselves (priced by weight on the spot), it didn't give me a particularly different taste. It's just the usual flavor, unless some friends are especially craving lobster 🦞, haha. For wine tasting, Sangria vermelha is recommended, which is also a Spanish signature drink. It's mixed with various fresh seasonal fruits, and you can't taste the red wine 🍷🍷🍷 at all. 🔸 No need for advance reservation, but you may need to queue on weekends if it's crowded; 🔸 The environment is pleasant, suitable for gathering with friends and chatting; 🔸 Average consumption per person: around R$200-500; #DailyFood #SpanishFood #RedDevilShrimp #WeekendRestaurantHopping #SpanishRestaurant
