Regina’s Let’s Sushi 🍣✨

It’s a bit of a drive from home, so we visit about once a month—and let me tell you, compared to other sushi buffets in town, this spot really stands out for its quality! Here’s hoping all local sushi spots keep upping their game to make Regina’s food scene even more amazing. 🌟 The restaurant is divided into two cozy sections. Usually, we’re seated in the left area, but on this Friday afternoon, we arrived a little later than usual, and the left side was already full—so we got to try the right section instead! It felt like a fun little change of pace. 🥳 There were three groups dining that day: a lively gathering of over ten colleagues from a local company, a warm local couple, and our small but hungry family. Everyone had such a friendly vibe, making the space feel welcoming right away. 👨👩👧👦 Last time we visited, there was an enthusiastic Filipino couple at the table ahead who clearly loved their sushi—they were quick to grab every plate of salmon sushi that came by, and we couldn’t help but smile as we watched them enjoy it! We ended up getting to try some once they’d finished, and it was totally worth the wait. This time, with our new seating in the right section, I had a feeling we might need a little patience with the conveyor belt, and sure enough, by the time the belt reached our table, some of the popular picks had already been snatched up by the other eager diners. But that just added to the adventure! 🤸♀️ I headed over to grab some fresh veggies, fluffy rice, and noodles for the little one, then picked up crispy chicken wings and ginger beef for my partner—so many tasty non-sushi options to enjoy too! 🥢 While I was there, I quickly sent a work email and took a brief call, and just as I finished, the little one needed a diaper change. Off to the restroom we went, and by the time we came back about half an hour later, my partner was sitting there with a grin—the conveyor belt had temporarily cleared because the other two tables had finished their meals and headed out. A friendly staff member was tidying up nearby, and when I asked if there was still sushi available, they smiled and said, “Just tell me what you’d like, and I’ll bring it right over!” 🤗 My mind went blank for a second—I love picking sushi by sight from the conveyor belt, and I couldn’t quite recall all the fancy names! But I knew salmon was a favorite, so I asked for 10 salmon sushi, and they arrived in no time with 8 perfectly made pieces—fresh, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. 🥰 Let’s talk about the food quality—chef’s kiss! 👩🍳 Every dish, from the sushi rolls to the hot appetizers, is crafted with care. The variety is fantastic: different ingredients wrapped in perfectly seasoned rice, some with crispy tempura bits, others with creamy avocado or fresh cucumber. And everything feels so clean and fresh—you can really taste the attention to detail in each bite. 🥑🍤 Now, the conveyor belt experience is part of the fun here! It’s like a little culinary adventure—you never know what delicious creation will roll by next. If you’re seated near enthusiastic sushi lovers (which we always seem to be, and it’s such a joy to see people loving good food!), you might need to keep an eye out for your favorites, but that just makes the experience more lively. We love the laid-back vibe of grabbing what catches our eye, so we’ve never felt the need to ask for specific dishes—though it’s wonderful that the staff is happy to help if you do! 😊 We’ve visited Go For Sushi in Saskatoon before, and while we love their pad-order system (it’s great to pick exactly what you want!), there’s something special about the conveyor belt fun at Let’s Sushi. It adds a playful, interactive twist to the meal that feels unique. 🥢 Overall, this place offers fantastic value for money in Regina! One little note: they do charge for kids aged 0-3, which was a tiny surprise—our little one sipped three glasses of water, nibbled on a bit of sushi rice, and turned down most other bites, so my partner ended up finishing their veggies and noodles. But hey, it’s all part of the experience, and the quality more than makes up for it. 🥺❤️ Even with the occasional “sushi race” with fellow food lovers, the dining environment is clean, bright, and cozy, and the 食材 (ingredients) are always top-notch—we’d absolutely give it a high score for both atmosphere and quality. If you’re a sushi fan in Regina, this spot is a must-try for its fresh flavors, fun vibe, and consistent goodness. We’re already counting down to our next monthly visit! 🗓️🍣 #Regina #Sushi
