Restaurant Exploration | Long Live Pita Bread 🥙
Took my parents to one of the few decent restaurants DC has to offer. 🫓 The all-you-can-eat pita is not the fluffy type of shukette, but the subtle fermentation aroma is not bad either. 🥬 Brussel Sprout The seasoning is uniquely sweet, with plenty of nuts and grapes. 🙊. 🫘 Hummus Incredibly smooth and love it. The lemon balances out the garlic flavor. 🌰 MOUHAMARA I’ve been curious about the walnut and pomegranate molasses since watching Miss Tanaka. The cumin flavor is a bit strong for me, but it’s edible. 🧆 BEEF FRIED KIBBEH The sweetly seasoned ground beef with pine nut filling is unexpectedly delicious, and the crust isn’t too oily. It comes with a yogurt sauce that’s surprisingly good. 🦐 KINGS PRAWN The seasoning is very Thai. 🐟 HEARTH BAKED LOUP DE MER Since my family doesn’t eat lamb, I chose the baked fish as the main course. The vegetables are paired, which is a plus. The fish is flavorful but overall quite light. It’s a safe, delicious choice. 🦴 BONE MARROW Better than the other tartar-like dumpling filling, but the seasoning is a bit too light.
