๐Ÿด Richmond Food Guide Vol. 3

๐Ÿ“ Crazy Thai Restaurant ๐Ÿ› Cuisine: Thai street food ๐Ÿ‘… Flavor: Sweet & curry lovers, this is for you! ๐ŸŒŸ Specialty: Thai-style curry ๐Ÿ  Atmosphere: Small shop, mostly takeout ๐Ÿ’ต Price: Around $20 per person ๐Ÿ“‹ What We Ordered: ๐Ÿœ Main Dishes: Pad Thai ($15) Drunken Noodles ($13) Spicy Basil ($13) ๐Ÿ— Snacks & Desserts: Crazy Wings ($8) Mango Sticky Rice ($7) ๐Ÿœ Pai Thai (Pork + Beef + Chicken Combo): This dish is like a dry-style Vietnamese pho with thin rice noodles, loaded with meat, fresh bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and a wedge of lime ๐Ÿฅœ๐Ÿ‹. The textures and flavors are rich and complexโ€”the crushed peanuts especially reminded me of Chinese hot dry noodles ! Itโ€™s sweet overall, so if youโ€™re not into sweet savory mixes, maybe skip this one. ๐Ÿ Drunken Noodles (Chicken): The noodles are wide, similar to those in stir-fried hor fun. It comes with carrots and a few greens๐ŸŒฟ. The flavor is mildly salty and a bit spicy. Pretty good, but not as exciting as the Pai Thai in my opinion. ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Spicy Basil (Beef): Tastes almost exactly like Chinese-style green pepper beef stir-fryโ€”salty and savory! A nostalgic taste that takes me back to snack shops in China. Definitely a comfort dish. ๐Ÿ— Crazy Wings: These are a must-try! Super crispy skin, tender meat, and the sweet chili sauce takes it to another level. 10/10 recommend! ๐Ÿ”ฅ ๐Ÿฅญ Mango Sticky Rice: Okay but not great. The rice was a bit too sweet, and the mango was a little sour and underripe. With coconut milk poured over, it was justโ€ฆ fine. Pass if youโ€™re looking for something exceptional. โœจ Also previously tried & liked: Red Curry Minced Chicken with Basil Worth a try if youโ€™re feeling adventurous! #URichmond #WeekendVibes #FoodReview #ThaiFood #RichmondEats ๐Ÿฅข๐ŸŒถ๏ธ๐Ÿš
