๐ด Richmond Food Guide Vol. 3
๐ Crazy Thai Restaurant ๐ Cuisine: Thai street food ๐ Flavor: Sweet & curry lovers, this is for you! ๐ Specialty: Thai-style curry ๐ Atmosphere: Small shop, mostly takeout ๐ต Price: Around $20 per person ๐ What We Ordered: ๐ Main Dishes: Pad Thai ($15) Drunken Noodles ($13) Spicy Basil ($13) ๐ Snacks & Desserts: Crazy Wings ($8) Mango Sticky Rice ($7) ๐ Pai Thai (Pork + Beef + Chicken Combo): This dish is like a dry-style Vietnamese pho with thin rice noodles, loaded with meat, fresh bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, and a wedge of lime ๐ฅ๐. The textures and flavors are rich and complexโthe crushed peanuts especially reminded me of Chinese hot dry noodles ! Itโs sweet overall, so if youโre not into sweet savory mixes, maybe skip this one. ๐ Drunken Noodles (Chicken): The noodles are wide, similar to those in stir-fried hor fun. It comes with carrots and a few greens๐ฟ. The flavor is mildly salty and a bit spicy. Pretty good, but not as exciting as the Pai Thai in my opinion. ๐ถ๏ธ Spicy Basil (Beef): Tastes almost exactly like Chinese-style green pepper beef stir-fryโsalty and savory! A nostalgic taste that takes me back to snack shops in China. Definitely a comfort dish. ๐ Crazy Wings: These are a must-try! Super crispy skin, tender meat, and the sweet chili sauce takes it to another level. 10/10 recommend! ๐ฅ ๐ฅญ Mango Sticky Rice: Okay but not great. The rice was a bit too sweet, and the mango was a little sour and underripe. With coconut milk poured over, it was justโฆ fine. Pass if youโre looking for something exceptional. โจ Also previously tried & liked: Red Curry Minced Chicken with Basil Worth a try if youโre feeling adventurous! #URichmond #WeekendVibes #FoodReview #ThaiFood #RichmondEats ๐ฅข๐ถ๏ธ๐
