Crazy Thai Restaurant π Cuisine Type: Thai street food π Flavor Profile: Perfect for sweet-tooth lovers & Thai curry enthusiasts π Specialty: Thai-style curry π Ambience: Cozy space, mostly focused on takeout π΅ Price: Around $20 per person What We Ordered: π Mains: Pad Thai ($15) Drunken Noodles ($13) Spicy Basil ($13) π Desserts/Snacks: Crazy Wings ($8) Mango Sticky Rice ($7) Detailed Review: π Pad Thai (Pork + Beef + Chicken Combo): Like a dry-style Vietnamese pho (thin rice noodles) topped with generous meat slices, fresh bean sprouts, crushed peanuts π₯, and a wedge of lime π. Rich and layered in texture and flavor! The crushed peanuts reminded me of Chinese hot dry noodles β a harmonious mix of elements. Sweet overall β skip if you donβt like sweet dishes! π Drunken Noodles (Chicken Only): Wide noodles, similar to stir-fried ho fun. Besides meat, only a few carrots π₯ and greens for garnish. Mildly salty and spicy. decent but not as exciting as the Pad Thai. π Spicy Basil (Beef Only): Tastes almost exactly like Chinese stir-fried green pepper beef ππΆοΈ β savory and nostalgic. Street-food vibes done right! π Crazy Wings: No-brainer deliciousness! Crispy skin, tender meat, served with sweet chili sauce β a 1+1 > 2 combo. Highly recommended! π π₯ Mango Sticky Rice: Not too impressive. The rice was okay but overly sweet; the mango was underripe and too sour. Topped with coconut milk π₯₯, but just average. Barely passed. Also tried before & recommended: Red Curry Minced Chicken with Basil #UniversityOfRichmond #WeekendVibes #FoodReview #ThaiFood #RichmondEats
