Stayed at the downtown Ritz-Carlton to use up my annual FHR credit. The location is super convenient – right in the heart of the city πŸ™οΈ, within walking distance to the World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, and Centennial Olympic Park. Getting around was a breeze! But the hotel itself… felt pretty dated. The moment I stepped into the room, the vintage vibes hit hard – let’s just say it’s the β€œno-frills luxury” version of a Ritz πŸ˜… The welcome fruit was a bit underwhelming too – almost felt shy sitting on the table. Dinner at AG Steakhouse on the second floor was okay, but nothing memorable. Breakfast the next day (more like brunch for us 🍳) was actually better! Used the FHR breakfast credit – solid choice. Toiletries were the classic Diptyque Figuier – a reliable touch. As for perks: βœ… $100 dining credit + daily breakfast via FHR βœ… Late checkout until 4 PM (helpful!) ❌ No room upgrade – maybe because it was a packed weekend? Overall, it’s a centrally located, practical choice for tourists, but the hotel definitely shows its age.
