Road Trip | Dallas ➡️ Hot Spring ➡️ Little Rock

This winter, we took our dog on a trip from Dallas to Hot Spring, and then to Little Rock City. Here’s a rundown of our dog-friendly itinerary: ✅ Dog-friendly 🚫 Not dog-friendly Hot Spring: Historical Museum 🚫 We picked up a map, but dogs are not allowed inside for the tour. We asked the front desk and took a trail that was about 4-5 miles long. Hiking Trails ✅ Dogs are allowed on the trails. However, there are many downhill sections and lots of sand, so be cautious if your dog tends to run ahead. Anthony’s Chapel 🚫 This chapel is a must-visit spot. Although we had seen many photos online, seeing it in person was still quite breathtaking. We found many travel tips saying that there are many wedding bookings in the summer, so it’s important to call ahead to confirm. Since it was the holiday season, there was a light show in the nearby park, which also did not allow dogs. The light show is held every Christmas, so if you plan to visit next year, it’s something to consider. It costs $20 per person. Hot Springs & Diamond Digging 🚫 We didn’t go to these places because dogs are not allowed, but friends highly recommended them. If you have time, it’s worth considering. Little Rock City: All the attractions are architectural sites, and you can bring your dog to see them from the outside. You can take photos and then move on. It’s about a 1-hour drive from Hot Spring. These attractions are all close to each other, and each one is about a 5-minute drive away. #NorthAmericanLife #DallasExploration #DallasFood
