Rockport, Boston for a Half-Day Trip

Rockport, Boston for a Half-Day Trip | Summer Coastal Town Vibe! 🌊 I followed guides to Rockport, and it was a total success! Food, fun, and shopping—summer is meant to be spent in a coastal town like this, pure joy all the way~ 😆 The Ice Cream Store | A Favorite for Cooling Down This ice cream shop, hyped up by many Xiaohongshu users, is so tiny you might miss it if you’re not paying attention! There’s a huge variety of flavors, plus shaved ice and froyo. After much hesitation, I went for “Purple Cow”—purple milk ice with chocolate chips. It’s creamy and not too sweet, not “mind-blowing” but definitely tasty. On a scorching hot day, biting into a cold cone instantly cools you down from head to toe, pure happiness!🍦 Roy Moore Lobster Company | Viral Lobster Spot, Super Fresh! It’s just a 3-minute walk from the ice cream shop to this popular lobster joint. is full of raves for their steamed lobsters, but it was way too hot that day—I didn’t want to get my hands messy, so I opted for a lobster roll instead. I ordered the cold lobster roll ($30) and added a crab cake ($3), and it was amazing! The lobster meat is sweet and fresh, no fishy taste at all; the crab cake is fried to order, crispy on the outside and packed with crab meat inside. While eating, we even saw fresh lobsters being delivered from the nearby harbor—total “farm-to-table” freshness, unbeatable!🦞 I didn’t try the steamed lobsters, but this lobster roll already left me super satisfied~ Tuck's Candy Factory | Post-Meal Treat! “Heat-Resistant” Chocolate Banana Dessert is a must! I was hooked by Google reviews—someone said their chocolate is “the best ever,” and I, being easily persuaded, had to try it. The shop has tons of chocolate varieties, but my desired orange slice chocolate was sold out, so I went for a frozen chocolate banana. It was a pleasant surprise! The chocolate is high-quality, smooth and rich, thickly coated but not hard to bite. The most amazing part? It was nearly 100°F (around 38°C) that day, but the chocolate melted super slowly—even the last bite was still crispy, incredible! It’s only $4 a piece, great value~ There are also plenty of parking spots nearby; park your car, grab one, and eat while exploring, so cozy!🍫 Bean&leaf Cafe | Summer Savior! Lemonade with Harbor Views It was way too hot, so I stopped at this cafe and ordered a fresh lemonade to sip slowly. Right next to it is a harbor—we even watched people diving into the water. Looking at the lively scenery while drinking the refreshing lemonade, the heat faded away instantly~ This is what summer should feel like!🍋 #BostonRockport#SummerNeedsSeaViews#BostonLife
