Rome's One-of-a-Kind Pink Baroque Church ๐
โฆ๏ธ There are truly so many churches in Rome, with unassuming exteriors that hide interiors so beautiful they take your breath away. Don't just visit the Church of the Gesรน or Saint Ignatius. โฆ๏ธ I often forget the name of this pink church, but among the dozens of churches I've visited, it stands out vividly in my memory. โฆ๏ธ If you're a church enthusiast, I suggest opening Apple/Google Maps and checking out any church with a rating of 4.5 or above; you won't be disappointed. The church is dedicated to Saints Ambrose and Charles, dating back to the seventeenth century, and it even houses the heart of one of the saints ๐ซ. Walking inside the church, you'll see magnificent frescoes and decorations, while the tranquil space brings peace and freedom to your soul, as if immersed in the medieval city of Rome, whispering to you of its glory and prosperity ๐. ๐ฐ Free admission โฐ Opening hours: 9:30-11; 12-18:30 ๐ธ Gorgeous, pink, gold, intricate, classic Baroque Catholic church dedicated to two saints from Milan, Saints Ambrose and Charles. ๐ธ It's a lesser-known church with very few visitors. Every corner is extremely ornate, and it's the first time I've seen a church with this kind of gold-pink color scheme. #RomeInDepth #StunningChurches #Rome #PinkChurch #ChurchOfSantAmbrogioECarlowAlCorso #RomeRecommendations #ItalyInDepth
