Rome | Contemporary Art Museum Transformed from a Brewery
Macro Rome Contemporary Art Museum : Macro is located in the Salario-Nomentano district of Rome. The Peroni Brewery Company purchased this area on November 24, 1911, and the following year, it was constructed according to the design of architect Gustavo Giovannoni, becoming a prime example of industrial archaeology in the region. Transportation : 1. From Termini Station, take the 🚌 bus: - Board the 9️⃣0️⃣ bus (heading towards Libya) from Piazza dei Cinquecento (in front of the station) and get off after 3 stops at Nomentana / Regina Margherita. Walk a short distance from there. - Alternatively, take the 3️⃣8️⃣ bus (heading towards Porta Romana) for 6 stops and get off at Nizza / Regina Margherita. Walk a short distance from there. 2. Take the 🚇 Metro Line B: - Get off at Policlinico station and transfer to the 3BUS. After 3 stops, get off at V.Le Regina Margherita / Nizza and walk 🚶🏽 160 meters to reach the museum. 3. By 🚗 car: - Drive directly to the museum's underground parking (paid). After parking, take the elevator directly to the museum. Tickets : - Reserve tickets through the official website (website: https://ecm.coopculture.it). The current exhibition ticket is 10.5 euros 💶 per person. There are discounts for online reservations, and admission is free on Tuesdays (reservation required). Tickets booked online need to be validated at the museum's front desk, after which you'll receive an octopus 🐙 sticker.
