Rome | Pierluigi 🦴🦪🍋

I'm starting a series to document the restaurants my husband has taken me to, and this one is first on the list. Let's call it: "Restaurants My Husband Took Me To 01 – Pierluigi." March is the time for Italian trade shows, and after participating, we chose Rome as our destination. As soon as we arrived in Rome, we could feel the temperature rise a few degrees. Worried that making a restaurant reservation too early might not work out, we booked a table for 10 PM (a bit late, I know). Initially, after the show ended, we were a bit tired and not very hungry. But as we walked around and approached our reservation time, our stomachs started to growl. We quickly took our seats and laughed about it. 😄 We were probably both really hungry because we ordered a seafood platter, lamb, beef, scallops, salad, squid, fish, shrimp risotto, and roasted cauliflower, and everything was delicious! Special shout-out to the seafood platter and the beef with mashed potatoes! The only minor complaint was that the rice in the risotto was a bit undercooked, but they said it was intentional. So, the delicious mushroom risotto we had the day before... was actually overcooked? 😜 Dining out after work was so relaxing. We chatted and enjoyed the delicious food together—it was such a happy experience! 🥩 #Rome
