Rome Foodie Adventure | Taverna Alessandrina in Mirti Metro Area
Taverna Alessandrina Located near Mirti station on Line C, this place stays open until 11 PM. 🕰️ The patrons inside clearly are all locals. The restaurant doesn’t even have an English menu. I took a photo and sent it to chatGPT, but it gave me some random translations. So, I ended up ordering using pictures from Google Maps, and it worked out! 📱 They have pasta, pizza, steak, and risotto on the menu. I saw a peach risotto that looked interesting, but I didn’t feel like having carbs at night. I just wanted to enjoy some meat. 🍖 Appetizer: Grilled Vegetables - €4.50 This was the saltiest dish I’ve had in Italy so far. It seems like they breaded and fried the vegetables, which made them super salty. I wouldn’t recommend this one. 😬 Main Course: The Most Expensive Steak on the Menu - €25 To be fair, even though the appetizer wasn’t to my taste, this steak was really good. Most other dishes are around €9-15, so this one being the most expensive definitely has its reasons. It was worth it! 👍 The portion was pretty big. The elderly couple across from me looked a bit shocked when they saw my empty plate. They started chatting to me, but I didn’t understand a word. I just laughed it off. 🤣 Drink: Canned Coke - €2.50 In hindsight, I shouldn’t have ordered the appetizer. That way, I could have made room for dessert! 🍰 #ItalyFoodie #RomeFoodie #MirtiMetro #ItalianSteak
