Rome Seafood Restaurant Check-in 🦞
Pierluigi The world's richest man dined here with his fiancée, and I thought I absolutely couldn't miss it. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get a reservation, so I went on a weekday lunchtime. We arrived around two, and the place was very empty. We had no problem walking in and sitting outside without any pressure. The lobster pasta starts at half a lobster, charged by at least 400g. I didn't expect that ordering a single fish would also be counted by the whole fish. The waiter brought out the smallest one, which was 700g, a bit too much for one person, so we ended up ordering a mi-cuit tuna instead. However, the waiters here are really adorable. At first, I couldn't tell the difference between the two types of lobster written on the menu, so he directly grabbed two live ones from the tank to show me, explaining the differences. When I asked for a wine recommendation to pair with the meal, he shyly admitted he didn't know much and had another Italian lady make the recommendation. After that, she even recommended other restaurants with rooftops to visit for sunset views 🤣. When it came to choosing dessert, I found that the fruit gelato and tiramisu were both over 20€ each, but since we were already there, we decided to try them... Everyone online says the oysters are very fresh, but since they are shipped from France, we didn't feel the need to try them. Friends who like oysters can give them a try; they should be very fresh. Summary: The ingredients are very fresh, the taste is good, and the environment and service are both nice. However, I do feel it's a bit overpriced. We spent nearly 120€ per person. #RomeRestaurant #RomeSeafood #MyLife
