S. Pasadena Garfield Park: Badminton Squad Recruitment 🏸✨

Capturing life’s little moments: A pink party at Garfield Park & a garden pop-up on Hope Street 🌸🛍️ Garfield Park in South Pasadena is the go-to spot for our moms’ group to stay active — we meet here almost every evening to play sports together! Sometimes we also gather under the trees on the lawn for chill hangouts. It’s so relaxing and convenient. I like to call it “Garfield Cat Park” 😺💚 This Saturday, Garfield Park was buzzing with energy! There was a group setting up the cutest pink-themed party on the lawn — turns out it was a baby shower 🎉👶💕 A celebration for the expecting mom and the little one on the way. These parties are usually held before the due date — such a warm tradition to welcome new life! Nearby, I stumbled upon a lovely pop-up shop set up in someone’s backyard garden during one of my walks. Today I went back for a proper visit 🌿🕯️ The space was small but beautifully curated — with herbal teas, scented candles, and so many thoughtful details. The host was super friendly and greeted everyone warmly. What a fun and creative way to connect with the community! ParkDesign #OutdoorVibes Back at Garfield Park’s tennis courts, neighbors often gather in the evenings (usually between 8–10 PM 🕗🕙) to play badminton, pickleball, or tennis together. If you love sports and live nearby, you’re welcome to join our Garfield Park sports group!
