The park features well-maintained pathways, a children's playground, and spacious grassy areas for picnics and public events. In addition, there's a charming gazebo often used for small community activities and gatherings. I attended the free summer festival Shakespeare by the Sea at Garfield Park. This wasn’t just a wonderful way to spend my Sunday evening but a fantastic admission free theatrical event. And a great opportunity to see and experience Shakespeare.

Read moreGarfield Park, it is a family oriented park. I've gone there since I was a little girl. As my son grew up we visited Garfield Park quite often. The grass is green and it has some small Rolling Hills and beautiful Shady trees. It does have a small arena with a stage. If you plan a day at the park we always got there early two staked out our tables so they would be close together. Bring some easy to wipe off tablecloths with you. If you're going to have a large party talk to Parks and Rec about signs to reserve tables. Have a...
