Salt & Straw November Limited Edition

First of all — to all who were scared off by last month’s heavy cinnamon flavors: this month is SAFE, delicious, and totally worth trying! 🎉 There are only two completely new flavors this time, but the overall quality is solid — I’d rate this month an 85/100! 🍞 Parker House Rolls with Salted Buttercream My 1 pick this month! If you love tearing apart old-school soft rolls and dipping them in cold milk 🥛, this is the elevated ice cream version of that experience. The base is silky, rich, and dense. You get bits of soft Parker House rolls in almost every bite — they stay incredibly tender even in ice cream form! Occasionally, you’ll hit a pocket of cream cheese frosting that’s a bit sweet, but overall it’s a beautifully balanced sweet-salty dream. 🧈🍞 🍁 Maple Koginut Squash with Pomegranate A flavor that’s not just “good” — it’s interesting. Smooth maple-roasted squash ice cream base (NO cinnamon!) Mixed with hazelnuts, cookie crumbs, and tangy pomegranate jam Every spoonful is layered and textured — the pomegranate really brightens everything up and cuts through the richness. One downside: it melts super fast because of all the mix-ins! ❄️🍧 🍊 Cranberry Orange Sorbet (Vegan) A refreshing and tasty dairy-free option — exactly what you’d expect! Bright, fruity, and light Though in winter, it can feel a little too light — more of a summer vibe. ☀️ 🦃 Turkey Stuffing and Cranberry Sauce Comes back every year… but still not my favorite. The spices are STRONG — star anise, black pepper, thyme all come through heavily. The cranberry sauce is sharp and acidic. Honestly hard to enjoy more than a bite… maybe a pass for me. 🙈 🎃 Pumpkin Pie Tiramisu The least sweet of the bunch! Pumpkin (with a hint of cinnamon) + tiramisu vibes Chocolate notes stand out — tastes like Mexican hot chocolate with a pumpkin twist! 🍫🎃 A cozy, interesting combo! Final Scoop: A strong, creative lineup — especially the Parker House Rolls and Maple Squash! Go early before they sell out 🍂🧡 #Seattle #SaltAndStraw #NovemberFlavors #IceCreamReview #SeattleFood #ThanksgivingDessert #LimitedEdition #FoodieFaves
