This is the best Italian food Iβve had in San Diego, and I found it through Reddit and Google. My friend who has been to Italy and I both agree that this place is very authentic, far surpassing all the trendy spots! The kitchen staff and servers all communicate in Italian, which adds to the genuine atmosphere. The calamari we ordered tasted exactly like what we had in Italy π. My daily special risotto was super tasty, featuring a huge pork chop that was big enough to share among several peopleβdefinitely a dish for sharing! π Whatβs really cool about this restaurant is that all their pasta can be customized! You can choose your own pasta type and sauce to create your perfect dish π. However, their tiramisu dessert was just average, so itβs not really worth ordering. Overall, Buona Forchetta is an Italian restaurant worth trying. If you love authentic Italian cuisine, you should definitely give it a taste!
