San Diego | Delicious Japanese Skewers

📍Yokohama Yakitori (San Diego) When a friend first recommended this Japanese skewer spot, I was actually a bit skeptical (since the online reviews didn’t seem all that great 😂😅). But upon closer look, I realized most of the complaints were about the service attitude. We ended up ordering almost every item on the menu (by the end, I honestly couldn’t even tell what I was eating 😅😅). All I can say is—everything was delicious! The ones that stood out to me were their beef tongue skewers and Wagyu skewers. Both were tender and juicy (and had no gamey taste!!). Since it was pretty cold that day, we spontaneously decided to order a hot bowl of udon noodles. Surprisingly, it turned out to be exceptionally good (the broth had a super rich kombu flavor, and the udon was cooked to the perfect firmness!!). We made a reservation by calling ahead.
