If you want to go here, pick a time when no one is there as the service is horrendous as the staff are not capable handling busy hours. Or customers.

Made a reservation for 9pm and got there on time. Told the staff I had a 9pm reservation and was (not very kindly) told to wait outside. After waiting 15 minutes outside with no one helping me, I asked a waitress and she told me they canceled my reservation because I didn't come on time. When I told her I was told to wait outside and was waiting for 15 minutes she immediately got an annoyed look, gave me the "don't talk back to me and stop talking" index finger gesture and told me that the reservation was canceled. After going back and forth with her and her attitude, I pointed out to her the staff member who told me to wait, I had to wait again some more as the two finally had a discussion. She later came out and begrudgingly gave me a seat (she didn't say sorry for the mistake). If that wasn't enough she took orders from two groups that were seated after me even before she asked if I wanted something to drink. I'm not saying the 2 groups got good service because she was annoyed at them too for having the gall to dine there during her shift. When she finally got around to getting my order, she told me it's the last call for orders lol

Later on another waiter came by and told me how busy it was yadda yadda yadda, like that was an excuse.

The only reason I stayed and ended up eating at the place was because my wife really wanted to eat a certain menu item there. I can't say it was worth it though. We won't be going back anytime soon.

Used to go there often so I know when it was good. The owner should really do something about the service.

The church should give me sainthood...

So I’ve lived in Okinawa for two years and on mainland Japan for an additional two years so I know what the authentic vibes are and what isn’t lol. Obv we’re in the States, so I didn’t expect much. Came in with no reservation, male waiter took our orders. He arrived with several appetizers but I guess there was a miscommunication with one. Chicken skin with ponzu VS fried chicken skin. My friend didn’t realize he ordered chicken skin w/ponzu as opposed to just ordering friend chicken skin. Waiter seemed offended and took it personal when it was brought and stated “well technically it’s fried chicken breast.” Lmao. Ok, brother. He was never to be seen again for the rest of the night, he seemed like he was avoiding us. Other waitresses went to our table to follow up instead and gave us our checks at the end of the night. We had waited roughly 40 min after we placed our order for numerous Yakitori only to raise our hand and ask a server if there was an update in which she had stated that our order got lost. Ok. So she had it entered again or she stated she’ll enter the order in again, and we received it within 10 min. Still kind of confused how our orders didn’t reach the chefs, and how we were waiting for 40 min until we actually figured to ask for additional assistance on an update. Seems kind of shady after the talk/miscommunication with one appetizer with our original waiter (who we didn’t see come to our table for the remainder of our time). Food good,...

I hardly complain about anyplace I ever dine at. This place, if you do not make a reservation then I would go eat somewhere else. Me and my friends a total of four of us, asked for a table around 6pm and was told the wait time would be 30mins to 1 hour. After 1 hour of waiting we approached the server to see the status or update at the front and was rudely asked if we were called. We told him no then he said we will call you when theres a table available. After another 45mins go by I went it and complained about why it's taking so long for us to get seated. They explained that we were skipped because of a mix up. I was extremely upset and asked if this is how they treat their customers. They apologized then asked if we could wait a little longer for a table. We almost left at this point but they finally called us for our table at 810pm. We were starving so we decided to go ahead and eat here. Once we got seated and then when we received our order of food it was not everything we ordered. I had to wait another 30mins just to receive the rest of my food and the same with 1 other of my friends. We finished our meal around 915pm. The amount of time we had to wait for simple food and service was ridiculous. So long story short, don't eat here without a reservation and expect long waits for food and service. Food was good but service was terrible....
