San Juan: Our Go-To Restaurant for Two Nights Straight

📍Pirilo Pizza Rustica - Old San Juan 🍕 After exploring the old town with our family of five, we arrived just as this restaurant was opening. A little after 5 p.m., the place was already filled with several tables of regulars. 🌈Our server, Yalitza, greeted us warmly—she handed us menus as soon as we sat down and had even prepared kids' chairs in advance. 🧀We have to rave about their Eggplant Parmesan—the cheese stretched beautifully, and the combination of eggplant and tomato was perfectly balanced. The kids absolutely loved the bean and rice fritters, with their crispy exterior and soft, flavorful filling. The chorizo sausage was another highlight—rich, meaty, and lightly smoky. 🍣But the real surprise was the pizza! The crust was thin and crispy, loaded with cheese, and freshly baked to aromatic perfection.
