San Juan : A Surprising Courtyard Restaurant

📍The Cannon Club - Restaurant & Piano Bar 🧡Today, my friend and I visited the recommended The Cannon Club during our break, and it was indeed a delightful surprise. 🍮 Tucked away in an alley of Old San Juan, we pushed open the wooden door to find a grand piano, with a pianist playing jazz. 🍹We chose a shaded courtyard seat, where an old-fashioned ceiling fan spun slowly. We ordered the grilled fish set meal recommended for the day—the fish skin was lightly crisped, and the plantain mash carried a hint of cinnamon. 🍨Noticing us browsing the drink menu, the server came over to introduce local craft beers. The fruity beer we tried was refreshing and not too bitter. We saw many friends dressed casually coming to dine from the poolside—the atmosphere here was very relaxed. The vibe was fantastic! With live music, greenery in the courtyard, and the evening breeze, it made for a perfect night with friends. 🍮It's advisable to book a terrace seat two days in advance. Also, don’t miss the pianist’s Latin music performances on Wednesday evenings. #SanJuan #TheCannonClub #CourtyardDining #LocalCraftBeer
