San Juan | A Global Culinary Encounter in the Caribbean

馃搷Boccado's Divino International Cuisine 鉁匴alking into this restaurant was a complete accident鈥攚e had originally intended to visit a Spanish bistro, but it happened to be closed. As we turned to leave, the Iberian ham hanging in the glass display caught our eye. 馃崶The tomahawk lamb chops arrived sizzling, their rich, savory aroma drawing envious glances from neighboring tables. 馃摲The chef came out specially to explain that the chops had been marinated overnight with local herbs and brushed with guava sauce while charcoal-grilled. 馃The lobster meat was expertly removed and placed back into the shell, drizzled with a white wine sauce that hid bursting caviar pearls. The salmon was pan-fried slowly in coconut oil, its skin as crisp as paper, flaking apart like snowflakes at the touch of a fork. 馃崈When the bill came, we were surprised to find it was only $60 per person鈥攁 meal of this caliber in New York would easily cost twice as much. #SanJuan #ChefsRecommendation #TomahawkLambChops
