San Juan Dining: Cayo Caribe Seafood Restaurant
馃АWe came here to unwind after a busy day. We visited Cayo Caribe Restaurant in the evening, located on the edge of Old San Juan. The place is small but tidy, and it was already more than half full by around 7 p.m. 馃ィThe fried calamari rings had a light, crispy coating, and the squid itself remained tender. The red snapper was pan-fried to perfection, with the fish holding its shape well. The steak, ordered medium-rare, was juicy and retained its natural flavors when cut. 馃ガThe staff proactively recommended the day's fresh seafood. The restaurant is very cozy, and the service was quick. 馃嵁The red snapper with rice and beans was indeed generous in portion, making it suitable for sharing between two people. They have a good selection of wines at reasonable prices. 鉁℉owever, the dessert portions were quite small, and the place was a bit noisy. Aside from these points, we highly recommend this place.
