馃殫This fortress complex perched on the cape of San Juan is more impressive than imagined. 馃寠The $10 admission fee includes a combined ticket for both El Morro and Castillo San Crist贸bal, making it one of the most cost-effective attractions in Puerto Rico. 馃尮When we arrived at 9 a.m. on a Wednesday, only a handful of photography enthusiasts were setting up tripods to capture the fortress in the morning light. 馃挧Walking through walls up to six meters thick, you immediately sense the military ingenuity of the colonial era.
