π Santa Clara | What I Ate in 2 Days β Part 2 πΊπΈ
The rice noodles on day two were SO much better than the night before! We finished competing kinda late β around 2 PM β and a lot of Chinese restaurants were already closed for their midday break π I still donβt get it β do people here really eat that early? In LA, the lunch rush doesnβt even start until 12β1 PM on weekends! π² Xiang Rice Noodle Got the stamp of approval from this Hunan native! The broth was solid β reminded me of the classic Jinshi-style beef noodles back home. Generous portion of beef offal, and the stinky tofu was tasty too. Great price! π’ Ume Tried their new items β the boneless chicken strips were delicious! π Ox 9 Lanzhou Noodle The grilled lamb chops were nice β seasoning tasted a bit like instant noodle flavoring (in a good way!). The oil-splashed noodles were better than their beef noodle soup β huge portions, couldnβt finish. π§ Tree Summer Online ordering was kinda a mess β more luck than system. Good quality ingredients, way better than Tongsui, but not mind-blowing. So many similar boba spots around β Cali milk tea game is seriously competitive! #SantaClaraEats #BayAreaFood #ChineseNoodles #HunanEats #BayAreaBoba #FoodieDiary
