SASANTI - Yogyakarta Restaurant (Obama Knows Good Food!) 🍽️✨

Better than expected! ❗️ I was a bit skeptical at first after seeing endless recommendations for this place on social media 🍠, but overall, the flavors were surprisingly good! Located right next to the Hyatt Regency Yogyakarta, it's super convenient if you're staying there. 🏨📍 We ordered 2 different single-person sets, which were like big sampler platters—basically a mini tour of Indonesian cuisine! 🍛🌶️ Each set came with small portions of various local specialties. The soups 🍲 and appetizers were also worth trying, and thankfully, nothing was a miss! However, the fresh juices 🍹 were way too sweet—later learned that Indonesian-style fresh juices often come with added sugar. Pro tip: Ask for no extra sugar when ordering! 🚫🍬 Service was... meh. 👀 When we waved 👋 for attention, they sometimes pretended not to see, and we had to ask twice just to get the bill. 🧾😅 But if you're in Yogyakarta and want decent Indonesian food in a nice setting, it's worth a try! Service: 👍👍 Ambience: 👍👍👍👍 Taste: 👍👍👍👍 #YogyakartaEats #FoodieAdventure #TravelDiaries #FoodJournal #MustTryRestaurants
