A beautifully situated restaurant with a plants and water features. The music was appropriate for the location. The satff were well trained and knew their menu and its contents very well. The menu was clean and very well presented with pictures and descriptions. The food was made and served in a very timely manner. The food looked great on the plate. Time had been taken to present it well whilst the food stayed warm. The food was delicious. My wife felt there might be a little too much salt but I did not find this. I found the portion size good though my wife felt more rice would have been preferable - the staff quickly served more rice when this was raised. We were asked if we felt anything was missing which was a nice touch. The prices reflect the quality of the location, staff and food service. We were very impressed. After trying four restaurants in this region this one come sout on top. Thank you for a great meal, when we return next to Jogja we will...
Read moreVisited Sasanti Restaurant because I watched a variety show that introduced this restaurant as the restaurant visited by previously President Obama. Ordered their Nasi Campur Nusantara (Three Colors Rice, Grilled Prawn & Sambal Matah, Beef Rendang, Woku Spicy Chicken, Buntil Salmon, Spicy Anchovies & Peanuts) and Nasi Goreng Kampung (Sasanti special spicy chicken fried rice). Portion wise they're pretty generous, sadly the taste just isn't to my liking. Their seasonings mainly really hot and i'm not a big fan of hot and spicy foods, so the taste isn't to my palate. I also ordered their Iced Javanese Tea and Es Kopi Susu Gula Aren (Coffee, Milk, Palm Sugar). This restaurant mainly visited by foreigner tourists and the staffs are very hospitable too. For this visit to Sasanti Restaurant Yogyakarta, i'm gonna rate them 3 out of 5. For more info about foods, kindly visit...
Read moreHad my 60 pax event at Sasanti and honestly, the food was so good! especially the mie godok, 5 Star!
The vibe at night was really cozy, mewah and syahdu, tho the outdoor area was a bit hot.
I booked the private room, but since the resto outside was packed, the servers were kinda overwhelmed. Felt like they were shortstaffed. Huge shoutout to Mas Fendi who literally hustled by himself
Sales Manager was super helpful, professional, and the sweetest ever. Big thumbs up for that. Tysm miss!
Also met the owner… let’s just say, maybe could’ve been a lil nicer.
Overall, still a solid spot for hosting events. Just hope they add more staff next time so the service can match the good food....
