Saturday Halloween Night at LA Universal Studios Without Express Pass
Hey spooky squad! ๐๐ป Are you ready for the ultimate Halloween night adventure? I tackled the SCARIEST night of the year at Universal Studios Hollywood on a Saturday โ with no Express Pass! ๐ And guess what? It was absolutely EPIC! Let me spill all the details so you can conquer it too! ๐ฅ ๐ Timing: Saturday (the BUSIEST day, but so worth it!) ๐ Ticket Type: Highly recommend getting the ticket that lets you enter at 2PM! You can explore the regular park in the afternoon โ hit those classic rides, grab some food, and then at 5:30 PM, when the haunted houses open, you're already there and ready! ๐ข๐โก๏ธ๐น โธป ๐ Daytime Route Plan As soon as you enter at 2PM, head straight to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter! ๐งโโ๏ธโจ โข ๐งน Flight of the Hippogriff: Ride this first! The wait was around 20 minutes โ short and sweet! โข ๐ช Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: Waited about 40 minutes. This classic never gets old โ still magical as ever! โข ๐ Three Broomsticks Restaurant: You HAVE to eat here! ๐ฅน The Butterbeer is pure happiness in a cup โ I loved it so much I got another one before leaving the area! (It's non-alcoholic, so everyone can enjoy!) โธป ๐ Nighttime + Haunted Houses Route (Starting around 5:00 PM) Some haunted houses opened as early as 5:00 PM! We hit these two first and only waited about 10 minutes each! ๐ฑ 1๏ธโฃ Terrifier ๐ Super gory + jump scares everywhere! Highly recommended for hardcore horror fans! ๐ช๐ฉธ 2๏ธโฃ Poltergeist ๐ Amazing atmosphere and set design โ it gave all the classic, retro haunted house vibes! ๐๏ธ๐ป By this time, crowds were growing, so we switched to some regular rides with super short lines! ๐ข Jurassic World River Adventure, Revenge of the Mummy, Transformers: Barely any wait โ we rode them all in about 10 minutes each! Riding them at night with all the lights and atmosphere made them even more thrilling! ๐ โธป ๐ Around 7:00 PM, we headed to Super Nintendo Worldโข โ and what a wonderful surprise! ๐ฎ It was almost EMPTY! We walked right onto Mario Kartโข: Bowserโs Challenge โ no wait, straight to the fun! ๐ Toadstool Cafeโข was also walk-in โ no reservation needed! We ate right away! The entire land was beautifully lit at night โ perfect for clean, dreamy photos! โจ After some fun there, as the night grew darker and spookier, we headed back to the haunted houses! ๐ โธป 3๏ธโฃ Monstrous: The Monsters Unleashed ๐ This was the longest wait of the night โ about 45 minutes as it got much busier. But let me tell you โ it was SO! SCARY! ๐ฑ Maybe itโs because Iโm a little scared of huge monstersโฆ 4๏ธโฃ Terror Tram ๐ The experience of walking through open-air scenes while "surrounded by monsters" wasnโt too frightening, but the actors were super into it โ great energy and fun interactions! ๐ We left around 10:00 PM โ totally wiped but so happy! ๐ โธป ๐งฉ Helpful Tips Summary โ The 2PM ticket is the best value: enjoy the park by day, haunted houses by night โ two experiences in one! โ Non-haunt attractions have shorter lines at night โ perfect for mixing in between scares! โ If you get scared easily, donโt worry too much โ with big crowds, the fear factor goes down a bit! ๐ So, who's planning their own Universal Halloween trip? ๐๏ธ Which house would you try first? Let me know in the comments โ and share your own tips if you've been! ๐๐ #Halloween #UniversalStudios #HarryPotter #UniversalStudiosHollywood #HauntedHouses #NintendoWorld #Butterbeer #HalloweenNight #ThemeParkTips #HorrorNights
