🌿 Savannah Travel Notes & Food Recommendations | A Healing Southern Slow Living Journey Snuck away for a weekend to the beautiful coastal town of Savannah🏖️ The whole city is incredibly chill~ Streets full of history, lush subtropical plants, and friendly locals made this trip slow & sweet💗 The surprise was how many super delicious restaurants are here! Followed Google Maps ratings and barely had any disappointments👏🍽️ 📍 Goose Feathers Cafe & Bakery Woke up late for brunch~ The food was decent, but sitting outside enjoying the view was super comfortable🌳☀️ 📍 E Tang Savannah actually has great Chinese food!😌 With hot pot🍲, lamb skewers🍢, rice noodles🍜… My Chinese stomach was moved to tears! 📍 The Collins Quarter An amazing restaurant! Ordered the Swine Time Beni—no exaggeration, it was the best toast I’ve had this year😍🍞 The city also has tons of little pubs🍹, perfect for taking a break, ordering a drink and chatting, then continuing to explore… and when tired again, just find another spot😂 At the history museum (which houses the bench from the opening of Forrest Gump!), the gift shop has two full cabinets of brochures📚, all recommending local classic food spots~ If you have time, be sure to explore! #Savannah#Georgia#SouthernTravel#NorthAmericanLife#FoodDiscovery#SlowLivingHealing
