On 7/4, with most places fully booked, I was scrambling for a spot near UCSD while watching the sunset. Found this Michelin-recommended place β they took walk-ins, so I rushed over without a second thought.ππ Figured even if the food was just okay, the stunning ocean sunset view would make it worth it.ππ But wow β it was unexpectedly incredible! French-inspired cuisine, totally different from typical hotel American fare (so over crab cakes and BBQ wings π ). Loved the Kanpachi and duck β four Cantonese food lovers left very happy! The halibut with baby bok choy was unique, and the scallops were beautifully plated and delicious.
