Seattle’s Hidden Gem is on an Island 🏝️‼️

📍 Whidbey Island Perfect for Seattle folks who want a quick escape without the hassle—easy day trip with a ferry ride! ⛴️ Getting There The quickest way is the Mukilteo-Clinton ferry (under 15 minutes—shortest island route around Seattle!). Buy tickets online ahead or at the dock. Ferries run every 30 minutes. 🐟 Food Highlight|HongKong Garden Their grilled fish is a must-try—way better than some popular spots in the city! Four flavors: Spicy, Mala, Garlic, Green Pepper. We had the Spicy Qingjiang Fish: tender, no fishy taste, and the veggies soaked up all the flavor. 👉 Call ahead to reserve (we walked in and waited ~30 mins). The owner also recommends the Mala Crawfish and Sour & Spicy Potato Strips 😋 👉 The patio has amazing views of the water, mountains, and forest—great for photos! 🏡 What to Do 1️⃣ Langley Town A charming artsy town full of unique shops: rugs, hats, jewelry, crystals, candles, pet toys, vintage clothes… Stroll, enjoy live street music, and relax by the water. Plenty of cafés and dessert spots to rest your feet. 2️⃣ Ebey’s Landing Gorgeous on a sunny day! The coastal trail offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains, wheat fields, and the sea 🌾🌊. Faces west—perfect for sunset watching 🌅 (Note: small parking lot, Discover Pass required). 📸 A relaxed yet fulfilling day trip—great for unwinding, eating well, and soaking in the views.
