Seattle’s Irresistible Donuts--Flourbox
Flourbox 📍 5621 Airport Way S, Seattle, WA 98108 ✨ Special experience on their first business day of the New Year I arrived before 9:30 a.m., and there was already a warm, long line outside—truly fitting for Seattle’s top donut spot. It was my first time trying them, so I boldly went all in with all four flavors, and each one was a delightful surprise. 🍩 Sweet Taro is my favorite! While not an overpowering taro flavor, it carries a gentle hint of coconut. The filling is smooth and not too rich, dusted with fine purple sweet potato powder on the outside. With each bite, the layers of texture come together perfectly—love at first taste. 🍵 Genmaicha was highly anticipated! The roasted aroma of genmaicha (brown rice tea) blends harmoniously with the clean bitterness of matcha. The filling is creamy, and the donut is topped with crispy toasted rice grains, making every bite deeply satisfying 🍵. 🥥 Coconut Cream and 🍊 Mandarin Cream were also excellent—the coconut cream is rich and fragrant, while the mandarin cream carries a bright, fruity tartness. Both are sweeter and richer in texture compared to the first two flavors. Personally, I prefer the taro and genmaicha, but if you love bold flavors, the latter two are worth trying~ 💡 Tips: Daily flavors are rotated and announced on Instagram before opening Arrive early—popular flavors often sell out quickly Pairs well with their cold brew coffee, which cuts through the sweetness and adds a refreshing kick Limited standing space inside, so it’s best for takeaway and enjoying on the go “That moment when you take a bite and the filling flows out—this must be the shape of happiness.” 🍩💫 #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlefood#Seattleweekend#fooddiary#Flourbox
