Seattle | Ascend Steakhouse & Rooftop Bar 🎡

Visited this supposedly most beautiful restaurant in Seattle on my last day in town! The space is huge with winding corridors and floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning mountain views ⛰️. 🍽️ Dining Experience 🍹 Cocktails Ordered a pineapple-based cocktail—refreshing and light! 😎 Saw neighbors getting the smoked cocktail under glass cloches (next time for sure!). 🦪 Oyster Shot *Presentation? 10/10.* Taste? Meh. Overstuffed with seafood—nowhere near as good as Santa Barbara uni. 🦢 Foie Gras Way too rich. Served with waffles 🧇—could only handle one bite before passing it around. The tiny apples saved it from being too heavy. 🥖 Bread Service HIGHLIGHT ALERT! Most creative bread basket ever—everything was delicious, especially the chive-flavored puff! 🤤 🍴 Mains (Scallops & Venison) Scallops were overcooked 😬, and the venison tasted suspiciously like beef (first-timer here lol). Not terrible, but not memorable. 🍄 Sides (Fries & Mushrooms) Mushrooms = SALT BOMB 💣. Fries were fine, but my tongue needed recovery time. 🍄 Dessert (Mushroom-Inspired!) Adorable glass jar with chocolate mousse, crumbles, and berry layers—just sweet enough in the small portion. 💸 The Bill Now I know why the servers dress so fancy—$$$!
