Seattle | Cafe Juanita lives up to its reputation

I thought it was a cafe based on the name, but it turns out to be an Italian restaurant 🤔 Located in a slightly secluded little forest, it looks like a private residence, with a bit of history to it. Walking into the restaurant, the interior is modern and exquisitely decorated, every corner is like a carefully curated photo spot hahaha But so effortlessly charming 🥰 The not-so-big restaurant is always packed, so you need to make a reservation. 🍴 Frutti di mare misti is the signature dish Spanish octopus, shrimp, scallop, with a squid and oyster sauce The steaming method retains the original flavors of the seafood to the maximum, and the sauce perfectly balances the sweetness. 🍴 Parmesan brodo Italian broth Adding egg yolk makes it a bit rich, it would be better without it… The appetizer snack is truffle, the truffle flavor is not too strong, even if you’re not a fan of truffles, it’s acceptable The second appetizer is raw beef + seafood, the raw beef doesn’t have a strong bad taste, and the seafood flavor blends surprisingly well after eating it. 🍴 If you’re choosing dessert, I recommend the chocolate, it’s amazing and not too sweet, perfect for a post-meal treat Each dish touched my heart The price isn’t too steep, around $300 per person The set menu has many courses, each with a nice balance of flavors, basically no misses. It’s also an excellent choice for a date night restaurant~ #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleWeekend #SeattleFood #SeattleDining #SeattleDaily #SeattleEastSide #SeattleEatingDrinkingFun #SeattleItalianCuisine
