🎁 Festive Home Touches Along with the tree, we strung warm white fairy lights around the living room and hung a few handmade ornaments collected over the years. The glow in the evenings feels especially cozy, and even my dog seems to love curling up under the twinkling branches. ⭐️ A great spot for Christmas photos: Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle has an absolutely magical Christmas tree—tall, glittering, and surrounded by elegant decor. The second floor also has a free Teddy Bear Suite that’s super cozy, filled with stuffed bears and holiday displays perfect for kids (and kids at heart!). 🍧 Tried a dessert spot in Capitol Hill: Coche Valley Dessert Cafe—really tasty 😋, and I especially loved their unsweetened whipped cream! We also tried their matcha Basque cheesecake and a seasonal yuzu tart, both delicate and not overly sweet. 🎄 Why December in Seattle Feels Special From neighborhood light walks to pop-up holiday markets, there’s a quiet, joyful magic in the air—even on rainy days.
