Seattle | City Pass Guide + Attraction Overview
š Woodland Park Zoo: The zoo is quite spaciousāit takes about 2 hours to explore fully (without extended breaks). Despite the heat, most animals are visible, though there are typically only one or two of each species. šļø Space Needle: An iconic landmark worth visiting if you havenāt been. The experience is similar to skyscrapers in Chicago or New York, offering elevated views of the city and sea. Note: Visibility can be poor on cloudy or rainy days. āļø Chihuly Garden and Glass: Located right next to the Space Needle. Though compact, itās incredibly unique, featuring vibrant glass artworks that are truly captivating. Allow about 1 hour for the visit. The lighting is dim, so itās not ideal for portrait photography. š„¬ Pike Place Market: Not included in the City Pass, but worth a stop if youāre nearby. Thereās a wide variety of food options (check out my previous food guide for details). The market is extremely crowded, with long lines at popular spots, and prices tend to be high. š Seattle Aquarium: Quite small and, in my opinion, poorly designedāit feels like a maze. The open-area touch pool where you can interact with starfish and other small marine life is a fun highlight. š¢ Argosy Cruises: The City Pass includes the standard cruise, but you can upgrade for $20 on the official website to pass through a lock (the kind that lifts boats). The 2-hour tour starts with waterfront views and ends with the lock passage. The middle segment can be a bit dull, but the narrated commentary is informative. š¢ Suzallo Library: Finally, a photo of the famous "Harry Potter"-style library. Itās beautiful, especially when sunlight illuminates the stained glass, though it may not fully live up to the hype. #Seattle #SeattleArea #SeattleTravelGuide #SeattleTourism
