Seattle | Dan Gui Blossoms’ New Hunan Restaurant 🌶️
Located near Green Lake in Seattle, this spot is already thriving, attracting both Chinese and Western diners—I saw many local guests during my visit. The owner kindly introduced us to their specialties. 👉 Highly Recommended Classic Hunan Dishes: 🥩 Dried Radish with Cured Pork An authentic Hunan dish, likely made with house-dried radish and cured meat—fragrant, spicy, and perfect with rice 🍚. 🍗 Stir-Fried Black Pork Full of wok hei (wok breath)! Dishes like this truly showcase the chef’s skill—my favorite of the meal! 👍 Hunan Stinky Tofu A must-order! It had been a while since I’d tried stinky tofu, and this instantly brought back memories of home 🥰. 🍆 Mashed Eggplant with Green Pepper I always order this veggie dish at Hunan restaurants. Eggplant lovers, don’t miss it—so aromatic! 👉 Non-Hunan Dishes Also Worth Trying: 🫛 Salted Okra🍤 Sweet and Sour Shrimp🍮 Brown Rice Cake🥘 Hot and Sour Soup Great for groups where not everyone enjoys spicy food. These dishes are mild, and the menu is extensive—including desserts and soups—so there’s something for everyone‼️ 📍 Dan Gui Blossoms 6900 East Green Lake Way N Suite F2, Seattle, WA 98115 🅿️ Park in the underground garage accessible via 4th Ave NE (near the coffee shop), then take the elevator up.
