Seattle | Day Trip to Leavenworth German Village

🅿️ About Parking: Noon is an absolute nightmare! I circled every parking lot for a full hour without finding a spot and almost gave up in despair. Either arrive early (before opening) or wait until after 3:00 PM—it’s much easier to find parking when the crowds thin out! 🎢 About Roller Coaster Reservations: This was the activity I was most looking forward to, but by 10:00 AM, all reservations for the day were already sold out! Key takeaway: If you want to go, book your tickets in advance! Plan ahead! 🌟 Some Tips: ▫️ The village offers sightseeing carriage rides, but they seem to only accept cash. Bring some change if you want to experience this! ▫️ The nearby Leavenworth Reindeer Farm is totally worth a visit! However, you’ll also need to book tickets in advance. I missed out last time due to uncertain weather—such a pity! ▫️ The village itself is quite small and can be explored in about an hour (excluding meal times). If the weather is nice, you can also hike at Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead on the way back. ▫️ I stumbled upon a lesser-known trail: Maloney Creek Interpretive Trail.
