Few places are as special and fill you with magic the way Leavenworth WA do!! From the cute Bavarian theme year round to the absolute awe inspiring Holiday time of year! Even on years with little to no snow, like this one sadly, they light up the Village and have activities running daily and the weekends are to not be missed!! Carolers on the streets and delicious foods to smell and try on every corner and the hot chocolate station is one of the most fun and warming stops there is!! The new Coaster is super fun and you can hear the happy screams all the way into the downtown plaza and kinda reminds me of the grinch movie to be honest lol...all in all Leavenworth is a wonderful stop year round with the beautiful waters drawing you in during the Summer the Fall Colors that make you want to watch trees all day to the Holiday time that just CAN'T BE MISSED AT LEAST ONCE IN A LIFETIME and the flowers in Spring and the wonderful way they make the whole valley smell delightful...put Leavenworth on your MUST SEE LIST you won't be disappointed you did!! The scenery here, is just absolutely beautiful! We visited here in October (this review is late) and we did not double check what shops were open or anything, so sadly we didn't get to tour all the cute shops, but we did go to the ones that were open, but we didn't need to go inside the shops to enjoy ourselves, this place is way to beautiful already! I did include pictures of when it gets darker outside and the lights on the building turn on, but the pictures don't do it justice. They have so many shops, and amazing drinks and food! You and your family need to check this place out, but please, double check what stores are open, so you can have the most enjoyable time, for us it was a long road trip, so having some shops close was a small bummer, but honestly its to gorgeous for me to complain!
