Seattle | Itadaki Yakiniku, Let’s Change the Lights, Seriously

Quick summary: $150 per person, delicious, worth it, nice decor, great service, plenty of parking spaces. Complaint: The pace of the meal was like a French cuisine experience, slow and dark lighting made the meat look black. Visited the new spot Itadaki Yakiniku with my buddies. 🍖👨‍👩‍👧 The wagyu beef was delicious, but it was just too long. I didn’t get the joy of indulging in barbecue. It took two hours from sitting down to eating the meat in pic 1, and I was really hungry. The appetizers were all exquisite, but there was something missing before getting to the meat… The environment is beautiful, but overall, it’s a bit dim. I was sitting right under a light projection, every dish looked black to me. The wagyu beef, once cooked, was a black blob on my plate, very uncomfortable. 😓 Besides the barbecue, my favorite was the cold noodles in pic 4, sour and refreshing, with a strong fruity flavor that took away the greasiness of the meat, very delightful! 🍜🌟 Overall, it’s worth a visit. Plan to go on a day when you have plenty of time to savor the experience. The wine list looked promising too, so I’m planning to try the wine pairing when I can drink again. 🍷 #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleFood
