๐ Seattle 4-Day Itinerary Day 3: Olympic National Park
Morning: Redmond โ Hurricane Ridge (3.5-hour drive, including a scenic 30-minute ferry ride ๐ข) Originally planned to visit Hurricane Ridge, but the kids were tired from hiking Mt. Rainier on Day 1. Since the views are similar to Mt. Rainier, we skipped it and headed straight to Lake Crescent. Short Hiking Routes & Attractions: ๐ถ Route 1: Hurricane Hill Trail (3.2 miles, 826 ft elevation gain, ~2 hours round trip). ๐ถ Route 2 (Optional): Cirque Rim Trail (1.5 miles, 49 ft elevation gain, ~20 minutes round trip). Afternoon: Hurricane Ridge โ Lake Crescent (1-hour drive ๐) Hiking: Marymere Falls Trail (1.8 miles, 318 ft elevation gain, ~1 hour round trip). A forest trail leading to a beautiful waterfall. Relaxation: Stop by Lake Crescent Lodge for coffee โ, rest, and lakeside views. Evening: Lake Crescent โ Rialto Beach (1-hour drive ๐ ) Hiking: Hole-in-the-Wall (3.5 miles round trip). We didnโt complete the full trail but caught a breathtaking sunsetโequally healing! Beach โ Hotel (20-minute drive ๐จ) We stayed in Forks, but Iโd also recommend Port Angeles as a convenient base for exploring the area. #OlympicNationalPark #SeattleTravel #Hiking #LakeCrescent #RialtoBeach #ForksWA #TravelWithKids #SunsetViews
