Seattle Dining Adventure | Sushi Nori Is a Must-Try! 🍣
When I first visited Sushi Nori, I was a bit underwhelmed by the simple decor. But I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did! Their dishes are truly delightful. I'm sharing my honest experience based on my personal taste, so take it as a reference. It's not exaggerated—this place is definitely worth a visit! 🌟 🥗 Appetizers : Spicy Tuna Chips 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: This appetizer is a hidden gem! The crispy fried nori chips paired with the perfectly mixed spicy tuna are pure bliss. The creamy texture is out of this world, and I couldn't stop eating and taking photos. If you can only order one appetizer, make it this one! 🍔 Salmon Carpaccio 🌟🌟🌟: Thin slices of salmon with Japanese soy sauce. It's nothing extraordinary, but the freshness of the salmon is still satisfying. However, I'd recommend trying the Spicy Tuna Chips first! 🍣 🍣 Tamaki Hand Rolls : Signature Tamaki 🌟🌟🌟🌟: To be honest, the Tamaki can be a bit tough to bite into (sharing between two people really requires some skill 😂). But the signature flavor is quite good! Here are my two favorite combinations: ☝️ Salmon Avocado Wasabi Sesame : The tenderness of the salmon, the creaminess of the avocado, and the hint of wasabi and sesame blend perfectly! 🍣 ✌️ Bluefin Tuna Scallion Avocado : The sweetness of the bluefin tuna, combined with the crunchy scallions and smooth avocado, creates a rich texture. 🍣 A5 Wagyu Caviar 🌟🌟: It's expensive but quite ordinary. I'd suggest saving your money for something else. 🍣 Highly Recommended: Chirashi Bowl 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟: At $45, it might seem pricey, but it's the best value in the restaurant! A generous bowl filled with 10 slices of top-grade sashimi, sweet shrimp, scallops, crab salad, and tamago. The presentation is exquisite, and everything is super fresh! In a city where Japanese cuisine can be quite expensive, this is a great deal. I highly recommend it to all sashimi lovers! 🍣 🍜 Ramen : Red Spicy Ramen 🌟🌟🌟🌟: A must for spice lovers! The flavor is similar to Muto's Volcano Ramen but with more depth. The combination of chili and broth is perfect, and you'll find yourself wanting to finish every last drop of the soup, even mixing it with rice. 🍜 Wagyu Soy Sauce Ramen 🌟🌟🌟: A regular soy sauce ramen with Wagyu beef. Personally, I didn't find the flavor particularly special, but my husband loved it. If you prefer a mild and gentle taste, this might be for you. 🍜 On workweek evenings and weekends, it's advisable to make a reservation in advance, as the place often fills up quickly. I'm a pretty big eater, and the average cost per person is around $60-75, which is a decent value for Japanese cuisine in Seattle. 🍣 Also, I'm on the lookout for more hidden Japanese gems in Seattle!
