Seattle Food Diary
📍Coche Valley Dessert Cafe🥞🍳 The soufflé here is so good 🤤—not too sweet, super fluffy, and everything looks beautiful. The croissant was a bit messy to eat but tasted decent (though it still can't beat the brunch place I tried in Miami—that one was truly amazing). 📍Tamari Bar 🍹 The food didn't taste as good as it did the last time I visited. The place was pretty busy, and seating felt cramped with tables placed too close together. The eggplant rice 🍆 was quite oily but still flavorful, and the grilled meats weren't as tasty as I remembered from last year 😅 (maybe my taste buds have gotten pickier over the year). 📍 Sum Yee Kae Seafood Restaurant🥢 First time trying their dim sum—the red bean pastry 🫘 and durian pastry were both delicious, served warm with a rich durian aroma. The braised beef brisket with radish was so comforting in winter—the radish was soft and soaked in savory broth. 📍151 Days 🥣 Their salted egg yolk shrimp balls were amazing—the shrimp was super tender. However, the braised pork rice wasn't as good as before (lots of long strips of pork skin this time). The three-cup chicken was a bit dry, but the bamboo shoots stir-fried with black pork strips tasted great. 📍Molly Moon‘s🍦 Why do I crave ice cream even more in winter? 🍦 I was going to buy ice cream from the supermarket, but a friend suggested trying this local ice cream shop nearby. Both the lemon 🍋 and vanilla flavors were delicious! #Seattle#Seattlefood#Seattleliife#foodguide#Seattleweekend#Seattleguide
