Seattle German Pork Knuckle
No Need to Go to the German Town for This! š· Apparently, the German pork knuckle place in the German town requires hours of queuing to get a taste, so Iāve always been hesitant to check it out. Sticking to the principle of proximity, I found a German restaurant right in Seattle, next to Seattle University, and the pork knuckle is delicious! Thereās no need to drive two or three hours to the German town!!! š æļø Thereās street parking available, $3/hour, payable by phone. We ordered: š¢ GERMAN PORK KNUCKLE SCHWEINSHAXE $32 The pork knuckle is quite large, served with two cornbread pancakes, roasted sweet peppers, and onions. Honestly, the pork knuckle is surprisingly good, with a crispy skin and tender meat! Itās very flavorful and can be paired with their special sauce: Whole Grain Mustard. They also have various mustard sauces on the table to try. The cornbread pancakes are fried in butter, aromatic and not greasy at all. This pork knuckle is a must-try, more than enough for two people to share š¤£! š¢ WURST PLATTE $17 We had the Bratwurst, which is made from a mix of pork and a bit of beef, quite tasty! It comes with German sauerkraut and mashed potatoes; my friend said the sauerkraut is just okay. You can also order a sausage platter to try different types of sausages, which is great if youāre in a group. The sausage platter is called: GRILLWURST SCHMANKERL $38, with 5 sausages. š¢ VANILLA ICE CREAM $5 Two vanilla ice cream scoops, with a super creamy texture and rich milk flavor!! I absolutely love it, haha, itās even better than the ice cream you get at the supermarket! Itās a perfect dessert after the meal! š¢ We also tried the German beer, which was pretty average, not much different from what youād find in the supermarket, so manage your expectations, haha šŗ They also serve salads, burgers, fried chicken tenders, etc., so you can choose according to your taste. Highly recommend trying the German pork knuckle!! 𤤠#SeattleLife #SeattleSurroundings #Seattle #GermanTown #GermanRoastPorkKnuckle #WeekendDining #DiningOut #TreasureRestaurantShare #Sausage #GermanSausage #Delicious #BigPorkKnuckle #CrispyPorkKnuckle #GermanStylePorkKnuckle
