Seattle Layover Guide
Had an 8-hour layover in Seattle on my way to Las Vegas ✈️, and made the most of it! Here’s how it went: 🕚 11:30 AM – Landed in Seattle 🕛 12:40 PM – Cleared customs and picked up luggage 🕧 12:50 PM – Exited and walked 🫱 right at the fork to re-check bags for the next flight. Even got my boarding pass in advance! (Usually, for layovers over 6 hours, you can’t get it at the departure airport.) 📸 Fig 2-4: Walked back 30 meters to the fork and went 🫲 toward “Seattle Downtown / Ground Transportation” to catch the 🚇 Link Light Rail. Signs are clear and easy to follow! 📸 Fig 5: Bought a round-trip ticket at the kiosk (accepts cash 💵 or credit card 💳). 📸 Fig 6: Took the train toward Lynnwood City Center and got off at Westlake Station. 📸 Fig 8: From there, took Exit C1 toward Pike Place Market – just a 5-minute walk away! 🏮 The world’s very first Starbucks is right there in the market, still using the original brown logo. A must-see for any coffee lover! ☕ 💡 Even with customs and getting back early for the next flight, I still had a solid 3 hours to explore both spots – totally doable! #Seattle #PikePlaceMarket #FirstStarbucks#TravelTips #LayoverGuide #SeattleSights
