Seattle Life|A Rainy Day Healed by a Pistachio Christmas Tree 🎄🥐
After Thanksgiving, Seattle seems to have officially entered the rainy season. Lately it’s been drizzling every day 🌧️, and my mood has felt a little flat — exactly the kind of time when you crave something delicious. This week I tried the Christmas Tree Croissant 🥐🎄 — with that signature layered pattern, maybe some of you already guessed the bakery? Yes, it’s La Fête Patisserie on Mercer Island, known for their matcha lava croissant! But this time, though also green, it’s not matcha — it’s a pistachio lava Christmas tree.🎄🥐 The other pink tree looks like berry flavor, but actually has chocolate lava inside.🎄🥐 The pistachio version has a texture similar to the matcha croissant — not too sweet, even slightly bitter, but with a richer creamy aroma. Personally, I really enjoyed this new holiday offering! It’s a bit smaller than the matcha one, so it’s easier to finish in one go — no guilt. Another nice touch: this time it came in a proper box — not just the simple bag like last time. So the Christmas tree shape stayed perfect all the way home! Would be lovely to share at a holiday party too 🎄✨ #SeattleLife #EastsideSeattle #HolidayVibes #FoodieFind #BakeryLove #WeekendEats #DailyLife #CroissantArt #MercerIslandEats
