Donât even know where to start, the artistry put into the delicious pastries and desserts for exceeded any expectations I had. The flavors were divined, and they were the perfect amount of sweetness all around. The texture of the croissants was incredible and I noticed that they used premium flour from France because they display that in front of the store at the bottom shelf right when you walk in. The bottom of the croissants are usually oily and buttery, and this one was not at all. The layer of croissants were beautiful when I cut it in half.
I got all four of the cakes just so I can try it out and see which one is delicious. The black Sesame had the subtle sweetness from the cream, the prices are on the higher end due to the quality, but it is well worth and I will definitely come back.
The mochi (fruit) cream puff was another honorable mention, that is so soft and stretchy, thatâs how I know this place in the first place
Parking is underneath with 20 minute visitor parking or 30 minute parking that can be validated in the store.

Read moreI bought four cakes: chestnut, strawberry, mango, and pistachio. So far, I've only tried the chestnut cake. The cream is smooth and not overly sweet, which I appreciate, but it might actually benefit from a bit more sugar for balance. I was expecting chestnuts to be inside the cake layers, but there werenât anyâit was just the sponge cake, which was a bit disappointing. For $13, Iâm not sure why it only contains plain cake.
Iâll update my review once I try the strawberry, mango, and pistachio cakes. The sponge itself is soft, and the cream has a nice flavor. However, the price pointâaround $13 for a small cakeâand the lack of parking are drawbacks. If you need parking, I recommend using the nearby library parking lot and walking over.
That said, the store interior is clean, the displays are stylish, and the cake packaging is excellent, which adds to the...

Yes the cakes are cute, the croissants look great, and they aren't overly sweet, but...
...the cakes are so full of cream that I the real cake became secondary, my mouth was filled with cream.
The croissants are a bit better, but in order to keep the cream chilled, the croissants are also served cold. There's not much buttery flavor left. You really can't have the best of both worlds in this case.
Last but not least, a drink and a $13 small piece of cake push the grand total to $20 a person including tax, before you throw in the tips... If you're tipping yourself for picking up the food and cleaning up after yourself.
It's going with the cute, fancy dessert route but doesn't work for me. Not a concern for the shop given the high income earners within the...
